Concentric Butterfly Valves

BRITVAL offers concentric butterfly valve, also known as a zero-offset butterfly valve, one of the most common types of butterfly valves. In this design, the shaft passes through the center of the disc, which is aligned with the center of the pipe, allowing the disc to rotate within the valve body. The valve opens and closes with a quarter-turn rotation of the disc, providing fast and efficient control of fluid flow.

Engineered for compact installation, minimal friction, and long service life, our concentric butterfly valves offer excellent sealing performance while requiring low maintenance. Their lightweight and cost-effective design makes them ideal for handling large volumes of liquids and gases in various pipeline systems. These valves are suitable for low-pressure and low-temperature applications and are widely used where space-saving design, reliable flow control, and easy maintenance are priorities.

Key Features:

The shaft is centered within the disc and valve body, allowing smooth rotation and minimal friction during operation.

  • Zero-Offset Design
  • Compact and Lightweight

Designed for space-saving installation, concentric butterfly valves are easy to handle, transport, and install in pipeline systems.

  • Soft Seat Sealing

Equipped with elastomeric seats (EPDM, NBR, or PTFE), these valves provide tight shut-off and reliable leak-free performance.

  • Low Maintenance Requirements

With a simple structure and fewer moving parts, these valves require minimal maintenance while offering long-lasting performance.

  • Quarter-Turn Operation

The valve opens and closes with a simple 90-degree rotation of the disc, enabling fast and efficient flow control.

  • Cost-Effective Solution

Concentric butterfly valves provide an economical choice for regulating large volumes of liquids and gases in low- to medium-pressure applications.
