Our valves offer complete flexibility in material selection for the body, trim, and sealing gaskets. A wide range of carbon steels, stainless steels, duplex steels, and exotic alloys can be specified, enabling the valves to withstand the most severe operating environments encountered in onshore, offshore, and process industry applications.

The top-entry bonnet-body construction enhances maintainability by allowing internal components to be accessed without removing the valve from the pipeline. This design also supports the use of specialized materials to comply with highly demanding service requirements.

Key Features:

Ensures positive isolation of both upstream and downstream pressure, allowing safe cavity pressure verification and system maintenance without disrupting operations.

  • Double Block and Bleed (DBB) Design
  • Sealant Injection Fittings

Emergency sealant injection points are provided at the seat and stem areas to ensure temporary sealing capability in case of seat damage, enhancing operational safety and reliability.

  • Locking Device

A robust locking mechanism enables the valve to be securely locked in the open or closed position, preventing unauthorized or accidental operation.

  • NACE Compliance

Designed and manufactured in accordance with NACE requirements for sour service applications, ensuring resistance to sulfide stress cracking and corrosion in H₂S environments.

  • Fire Safe Design

Engineered to maintain sealing integrity even after exposure to fire, complying with applicable fire-safe testing standards for critical service applications.

  • Antistatic Device

An integrated anti-static mechanism ensures electrical continuity between the ball, stem, and body, preventing static charge buildup and reducing ignition risk in hazardous environments.

PRODUCT DETAILS

Structure and Components:
BRITVAL designs these valves to operate without the need for lubricants or grease to achieve sealing between the ball and seat. A precision metal-to-metal sealing system is utilized between the ball and seat, while non-elastomeric seals are provided between the seat and body. Metal-to-metal sealing can also be incorporated between the body and bonnet, as well as between the stem and body (optional), ensuring superior reliability and long-term performance in demanding service conditions.
